Awaria
Awaria is a short, hyper-stressful 2D action game with bullet hell elements, created by vanripper, the developer of the cult hit Helltaker. Taking on the role of an overworked maintenance worker in a series of haunted penal tunnels, you are tasked with diagnosing, crafting, and delivering parts to failing generators under brutal, unforgiving time pressure. The simple loop of fixing machinery quickly descends into absolute chaos as you dodge high-velocity scrap metal, electrical arcs, and bullet-hell-style projectile patterns launched by spectral entities. Featuring vanripper’s signature, highly recognizable cartoon art style, an incredible soundtrack, and a lighthearted, comedic narrative where you can win over and romance charming ghostly girls, Awaria serves up a brilliant, deeply addictive blend of frantic time management, punishing mechanical difficulty, and cozy charm.
