Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior
Bruce Lee: Dragon Warrior is a versus fighter in which the player takes the role of Bruce Lee, the famous martial arts actor. During story mode, the young Lee tries to make a name for himself in Hong Kong and eventually enlists to a martial arts school. From an overhead map, the player chooses the next event to participate in: a story bit, regular fights against one of the nine opponents, arcade, time trial or survival. Solving a challenge rewards experience points and eventually lead to a level-up. Then the player unlocks various extras like playing one of the other characters during the other game-modes (when playing them stand-alone from the main menu) or new character moves.
During the fights, the player uses touch pad controls (with an emulated pad – optionally joystick – and buttons) to perform standard (punches, kicks, hold) or special attacks respectively evasion manoeuvres. Special attacks (Lee can bring three of the unlocked ones into a fight) cost Chi energy which fills up with standard attacks. Overall the fights are relatively slow and rely on pointed actions. There is no multiplayer.
