Heads-Up Display

The Heads-Up Display (HUD) shows vital information while you’re racing including a minimap, speedometer, timer, your position and current lap count. If you’d prefer not having this information on screen during the race you can turn it off in the Settings menu.

1) Minimap: The minimap is an easy way to keep track of any nearby cars and any sharp turns you may be approaching. Your car is represented by the yellow circle, other cars are gray.

2) Speedometer: The speedometer displays your current speed. You can set it to display kilometers or miles per hour in the Settings menu.

3) Timer: Through most of the race the timer displays your current lap time, however it also updates when you complete a lap to display the difference in time with your previous lap. It also shows the time split difference between your car and the next closest car whenever you reach checkpoints on the track.

4) Position/lap: Your current position and lap count are listed here.

5) Steering Assist/Traction Assist: If you’ve enabled the Steering and Traction Assist features in the Controls menu, you’ll see icons representing these features under the lap count. When actively assisting you, the icons will turn green. They’re white when they’re enabled but inactive. The icons won’t appear in your HUD if you’ve disabled these features.
