My Cars

All of your currently owned Cars are in the My Cars section of Pitlane. The car you’re currently using appears when you first enter this menu (as indicated by this tick), to switch your active car slide across to a different Car and tap on it. Additional cars can be purchased at the Car Market.

Car Market

You can buy new cars or sell old Cars in the Car Market.

Buy: Use your Prize Money to buy powerful new cars. Cars you already own aren’t available for purchase.

Sell: If you’re running low on Prize Money it might be a good idea to sell an old car you no longer need. Beware: selling your cars can make you ineligible for entry into some Events, check the Event Requirements carefully before you sell your cars.

Customize

Car customization allows you to upgrade Performance Rating (P) and respray your cars.

Performance: Using your Prize Money you can buy new parts to upgrade your Acceleration, Top Speed and Handling ratings which leads to an improved performance rating (P).

Respray Car: For a $5000 fee you can change the color of your car. Some Events require you to have a resprayed car to enter.

Performance Rating (P)

A car’s Performance Rating is a combination of its Acceleration, Top Speed and Handling ratings. It can be upgraded by purchasing new parts in the Customize menu. Many Events have entry Requirements limiting entry to cars with specific Performance Ratings.

Engine Class

Each car in Real Racing 2 can be categorized by Engine Class. Engine classes range from 4Cyl to GT. Some Events only allow you to enter Cars with a specific Engine Class in order to even the field.
